ALMAMER University of Economics is a non-public (private) school operating based upon the Higher Education Act of August 30, 2005 (Journal of Laws No 164, item 1365) and the statute. DrukTur Limited Liability Company, engaged in schooling based on the Decision granted by the Minister of National Education in the year 1987, is the founder of ALMAMER University of Economics. The company was registered in the companies’ register by the Economic Court in Warsaw on June 1st, 1987. since February 18, 1991 Professor Janusz Merski Ph. D. has been the Company’s President.

 

From the very beginning DrukTur Limited Liability Company was involved in organizing courses and trainings. It is engaged in the organization of domestic and foreign tourism.

The University’s stability is guaranteed by the decision by the Minister of National Education Nr DNS 3-0145/TBM/212/94 dated June 28, 1994 which shall remain in force for a period of 25 years; the University has been entered upon the register under record 42. The University’s motto is good didactics, consideration and high standards. The didactic process is carried out using state of the art training programs.

The University endeavors to prepare students for independent work in managerial positions in private and state companies and institutions such as tourism offices, state administration agencies and diplomatic postings.

It is the University’s ambition to produce 21st century managers – competent, endeavoring and creative people well familiarized with the realities of modern, competitive market economy.
